If you are interested in joining the lab, there are a few educational programs through which this can be achieved. You are welcome to contact me directly to discuss your research interests.

Postdoctoral appointments

If you would like to conduct postdoc research in the lab, plan on applying to the WHOI Postdoctoral Scholar program.  WHOI also offers other types of postdoctoral appointments.

Guest student, Summer Student Fellow (SSF) and Partnership Education Program (PEP) Opportunities:

Guest Student:
Come anytime during the year for a month, or a few months, as a guest studentAdmission based on academic records and reference letters. Travel allowance and housing provided. International students welcome too (e.g. 6 month-internship for Master degree).

Summer Student Fellow:
Come enjoy the Cape during summer for a few months as a Summer Student FellowAdmission based on academic records and reference letters. Travel allowance and housing provided. A lot of social and scientific fun. Applications should be submitted at the latest around February 15th every year.

CCCC Blue Economy Internships:
Woods Hole Oceanographic Insitution offers paid Blue Economy internship opportunities for Cape Cod Community College students in Woods Hole, MA, January-May, 2026. The program consists of a short course on “Blue Economy” topics and an internship placement in a WHOI lab. No previous experience is required – just interest and a desire to learn more! To apply, please submit by Nov. 21, 2025.
